US Figure Skating Basic Skills Program
Open Enrollment

Two new opportunities for Basic Skills Skating Classes: December and January session, plus February and March session.

Classes will be held Saturdays, December 1, 8, 29, January 5,12,19 and 26.

*Class levels or times may be adjusted to accommodate certain skating levels. 20 registrations needed to hold the class.

Basic 5-8/ Adult/ Freeskate 1-6         8:00 to 8:30 a.m.

These lessons are designed to give skaters a strong foundation on which to build spin positions, edges and single jumps. The skaters should have successfully passed lower Basic levels or similar program.

Basic 1-4, Hockey Basic 1- 4              8:30 to 9:00 a.m.

These levels introduce the fundamental moves in Skating.  Upon completion and competency of Basic 1-4 and Hockey Basic 1-4, skaters will be confident on the ice and ready to move to a more advanced Basics levels and Freeskate levels.

Cost per student: $85.00 + $7.50 for 1 year USFS Basic Skills Membership Fee ($7.50 waived if already a USFS member)
